Two charged in fatal stabbing of woman in Minneapolis

Prosecutors have charged two people in the fatal stabbing of a woman in downtown Minneapolis.

The Hennepin County attorney's office charged 21-year-old Ivory May Andis and 22-year-old Tylor James Jorgensen with second-degree murder Friday in Thursday's death of 44-year-old Dargenella Wade. Police found Wade inside the transit hub at a parking ramp near Target Field and Target Center.

The complaint says Wade and Andis had been fighting earlier that morning, and that at one point, Wade sprayed a chemical irritant on Andis and her boyfriend, who's not named in the complaint. The complaint says witnesses later saw Andis break a bottle, but Jorgenson stopped her and gave her a knife before she stabbed Wade.

Jorgensen and Andis are due in court Monday. Court records don't list attorneys for them.
