Severe weather surprises forecasters

Wednesday's severe weather in the Twin Cities came as surprise to forecasters.

Mike Griesinger, a forecaster with the National Weather Service in Chanhassen, says until the tornadoes were spotted, there was very little evidence that severe weather was possible. He spoke with MPR's Cathy Wurzer.
