House Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced last week that the House of Representatives will launch an official impeachment inquiry into President Trump.
Detailing the steps to the investigation, Pelosi added, “I am directing our six committees to proceed with their investigations under that umbrella of impeachment inquiry.”
The committees include the Judiciary, Intelligence, Foreign Affairs, Oversight, Ways and Means and Financial Services Committees.
MPR News host Kerri spoke with former Watergate prosecutor and MSNBC legal analyst Jill Wine-Banks about the similarities and differences between the impeachment inquiries into President Trump and former President Richard Nixon.
