Former prosecutors weigh case against Minneapolis officers in Floyd killing

The Minneapolis police officer seen in a video kneeling on George Floyd’s neck for more than eight minutes has been charged with third-degree murder and manslaughter. The other three officers who responded also could face charges.

But those fighting for justice for Floyd say it’s not enough. MPR News host Kerri Miller talked with two former prosecutors about what options prosecutors have in such cases.
