Derek Chauvin receives a 20 year sentence for violating George Floyd's civil rights

A judge today sentenced former Minneapolis police officer to 20 years in prison for violating George Floyd’s civil rights. The sentence will be served concurrently with the 22-and-a-half years he is already serving for the murder and manslaughter of Floyd.
