New gun regulations face opposition from Minnesota sheriffs

Thirteen southern Minnesota sheriffs have signed on to a letter opposing proposed new gun regulations. The House and Senate have taken up versions of a bill that proposes penalties for gun owners who don’t follow new rules about locking up guns, and ammunition, among other things.
