In a virtual meeting last night, the DFL Party Central Committee adopted new rules that’ll ban Minneapolis council member Nasri Warsame from seeking the party’s nomination. Earlier this month, after a group of supporters stormed the stage of a nominating convention center engaging in violent behavior. DFL leaders also approved a change to its rules that could lead the organization to kick Warsame and others in his campaign out of the party altogether. Warsame has condemned what happened but plans to continue his campaign.
