Rebate checks look like junk mail; Carlton County wildfire continues burning
The state Department of Revenue says some Minnesotans are mistaking rebate checks for junk mail and discarding them. And crews continued work Wednesday to extinguish a 40-acre wildfire in Carlton County that ignited on Labor Day. The fire has forced the evacuation of six homes.
