Minnesota 9/11 tribute concert canceled; Stillwater prison tests water amid protests

The Minnesota 9/11 tribute concert, that has long been held at Lake Harriet Bandshell, has been cancelled this year. The chair of the group that has put on the concert, wrote on Facebook that volunteers and donations have been steadily declining over the past few years.

In a news release late Saturday, the department said Commissioner Paul Schnell is ordering the testing to “assure staff and incarcerated individuals that the water is safe for drinking.”
