Prairie Island nuclear plant offline due in part to electrical problem

Xcel Energy says a reactor at its Prairie Island nuclear plant southeast of the Twin Cities automatically shut down on October 19 due to an equipment issue between the turbine and the plant's connection to the electric grid.
