An Edina man is expected to plead guilty Monday to federal charges of ripping off COVID-era business relief programs. Prosecutors say that that 50-year-old Mark Erjavec reactivated nine dormant businesses solely to steal from the Economic Injury Disaster Loan and Paycheck Protection Programs.
Metro Transit is looking for customer opinions on proposed fare changes. Currently, express bus fare is $3.25 during rush hours and $2.50 at all other times. Under the proposed changes, riders would pay $3 to ride an express bus at any time.

Minnesota lawmakers are considering decriminalizing psilocybin, also known as psychedelic mushrooms. Decriminalizing possessing psilocybin is one of the recommendations that the state Psychedelic Medicine Task Force made to the Legislature. Task Force members included doctors, lawmakers and veterans with treatment-resistant depression.
Renovation of the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center in St. Cloud is underway. The arena, which opened in 1989, is home of St. Cloud State University's Division 1 Huskies hockey team. The Minnesota Legislature awarded the university funding for the $12.9 million project last year.
