Minnesotans can start casting their ballots in the midterm election this Friday. Absentee ballots will start to be mailed out and voters will also be able to vote absentee in person at certain early voting locations. Absentee ballots are approved by a witness and placed in a secure envelope to be verified by a ballot board and counted later.
