Meet Anna Haecherl

Anna Haecherl is a digital editor for MPR News. She oversees the digital production team that curates the MPR News website and MPR News’ social media accounts. 

Before joining MPR News in 2023, Anna served as the news director of the St. Cloud Times, starting as a business reporter there and moving into a content coach role before overseeing the newsroom. Anna also spent time as a reporter at the Marshall Independent in southwest Minnesota, covering county governments, agriculture and writing human interest stories.  

Anna studied English, writing and music at Southwest Minnesota State University in Marshall. She was born and raised in southwest Minnesota and now lives in St. Paul.
