Meet Bianca Caputo

Bianca Caputo is a senior at the University of Minnesota studying journalism with a minor in political science. She’s passionate about impactful local journalism that focuses on making politics just as fun for other people as it is for her.

Bianca is a first-generation college student. She has family in Minnesota stretching from her grandparent’s farm in Bertha, all the way to her hometown in Cannon Falls where she learned the twists and turns of covering city government.

Before joining MPR News, Bianca’s worked with KAAL ABC 6 News, Radio K’s Real College Podcast, the Cannon Falls Beacon, the Minnesota Historical Society and the Minnesota Daily.
