
Meet Ngoc Bui
Ngoc Bui is a producer for All Things Considered. Ngoc came into public radio with a background in community media, working as an audio producer for groups in Germany.
Ngoc was born in Vietnam and grew up in the Frogtown neighborhood of St. Paul. They seek to produce segments that authentically capture people's lived experiences and provide people with the information they need to make informed decisions about their lives. Ngoc received an Award of Merit, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion from the Midwest Broadcast Journalism Association Eric Sevareid Awards in 2024.
Ngoc has a bachelor’s degree in sociology with honors in education and a minor in computer science from Stanford University. They also have a master’s degree in social work as a human rights profession from Alice Salomon University of Applied Sciences.
Outside of work, they are a sporadic runner, writer and calligrapher. Their favorite Minnesota tradition is the state fair, where they also worked at the giant slide for a summer.
