In 1995, Blackalicious released a follow-up EP titled Melodica, and in 1999, they release of another EP, A2G. In 2000, the band released their first full-length debut entitled Nia, the Swahili word for purpose. After signing with MCA the Blackalicious released Blazing Arrow, which boasted guest appearances from Rage Against the Machine vocalist Zack de la Rocha and veteran soul singer Gil Scott-Heron. Blackalicious' newest album, The Craft, was released in 2005.
