Nicolai Dunger - live from South by Southwest

He has recorded with the jazz band Esbjorn Svenssons Trio, trumpet player Goran Kajfes, art percussionist ensemble Kroumata, and Ebbot Lundberg from Soundtrack of Our Lives. With Lundberg, he recorded The Cloud Is Learning in Soundtrack of our Lives' studio, White Noise. This - as well as his obvious talent - granted him continued attention from the music press and allowed him to produce other less mainstream music.

With continued interest from musicians such as Will Oldham (Palace), Jonathan Donahue (Mercury Rev), and Emiliana Torrini, Nicolai continued recording and, in 2001, produced Soul Rush. While this album was not a great commercial success, this album sold much more than the previous ones. This album was followed up by Tranquil Isolation. In 2004, he produced his most recent album Here's My Song You Can Have It...I Don't Want It Anymore/Yours 4-Ever.
