Dr. John Seffrin, CEO of the American Cancer Society, says it is possible to win the war on cancer by the end of the 21st century. But in a speech at the National Press Club, Seffrin warned that without suffient investment in research and prevention, cancer could instead become the leading cause of death in the U.S.
