The current clash began on July 12 when members of Hezbollah abducted two Israeli soldiers. Israel responded by launching attacks on Lebanon, the home of Hezbollah.

Now, two weeks later, over 400 civilians have been killed in Lebanon and Israel. Neighborhoods have been destroyed. And an estimated 500,000 people have been displaced.

Reporter Nikki Tundel talks with Professor Stephen Feinstein about the history behind the conflict and the possible ways to put a stop to the violence.
