(AP) - A teenager was hospitalized Thursday in serious to critical condition after being shot at a downtown Minneapolis bus stop hours earlier.
The shooting happened about 9:45 p.m. Wednesday in front of dozens of passengers aboard two Metro Transit buses near City Center, said police Lt. Marie Przynski.
The wounded teen was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center. He's believed to be about 16. Police don't know if he was trying to get on the bus when he was shot.
Police interviewed passengers on the buses and said they have some strong leads but have not yet made any arrests.
Police will review surveillance video from nearby cameras for clues about the shooting.
