Anders Gyllenhaal, the editor and senior vice president of the Star Tribune newspaper is leaving. He'll be taking on a similar position at the Miami Herald in February. As editor and senior VP for news, he's been at the state's largest newspaper since 2002.

We called on our regular media commentator David Brauer, who profiled Gyllenhaal for Minnesota Monthly this summer. I asked if he saw the editor's move to a smaller paper coming.
