Moving closer to hydrogen energy

A House committee is going to look at a bill that could move the state closer to harnessing hydrogen as energy. The bill would create a road map that would put Minnesota on a path to developing hyrdrogen energy. The bill also asks for appropriation for producing appropriate hydrogen technologies.

Cathy Wurzer talked with Rolf Nordstrom, who is the director of the Upper Midwest Hydrogen Initiative at the Minneapolis-based Great Plains Institute, about where hydrogen energy fits in Minnesota's broader energy strategy.
