A new Minnesota Public Radio program called "How's the Family?" is about the families we're born into, the families we choose and, in the case of the debut broadcast, the families that are thrust upon us.
MPR's Cathy Wurzer talked with the show's host, Nanci Oleson about the first episode, which features a story about what happens when kids melt down in a public place because, as Olesen says, parenting is a job that has to be done in public.
