Minnesota U.S. Rep. Betty McCollum plans to introduce a bill in the U.S. House Thursday aimed at reducing child marriage around the world.
According to the U.S. Agency for International Development, an estimated one in three girls in developing countries marries before seh reaches age 18. MPR's Cathy Wurzer talked with Rep. McCollum about the bill.
