The Little League World Series gets underway Friday in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, and one of the 16 teams competing in the tournament is from Coon Rapids, Minnesota.
Those 9- to-12-year-old boys will be competing on a big stage. The event draws thousands of fans and the games will also be seen by a national television audience on ESPN.

The team's first game in the round robin phase of the Little League World Series is scheduled for Saturday at 5 p.m. against a squad from Lubbock, Texas.
MPR's Jim Bickal visited with the team this week before they left for Williamsport.
He talked with Tanner Lowe, a pitcher and infielder for the team, and coach Mark Lowe.
