U.S. Attorney Rachel Paulose announced Monday that she will be leaving her post and take a position at the Justice Department in Washington, D.C.
Paulose did not detail why she was leaving, but a written statement from her office said she will advise the Assistant Attorney General for Legal Policy at the Justice Department in Washington, D.C. Paulose will resign her current job and assume her new role in early January.
Kevin Washburn is a law professor at the University of Minnesota and former assistant U.S. attorney. MPR's Tom Crann spoke to Washburn about what Paulose's move means.
