Some of the people who responded to last year's I-35W bridge collapse will be recognized for their efforts today.

Seventeen divers from the Naval Amphibious Base in Virginia Beach, Va., were among the many rescuers who helped after the I-35W bridge collapsed.

They helped find missing victims, remove debris and recover cars in the Mississippi River.

They will get an award called the Meritorious Unit Commendation from the Navy.

They are actually being awarded for all their work in 2007, which includes their response to the bridge collapse.

Thirteen people died in the collapse and about 100 others were injured.
