Eden Prairie High School closed due to alleged threat
About 3,300 students at Eden Prairie High School have the day off, because of what's being called an alleged threat.
In a letter on the district's Web site, Eden Prairie Superintendent Melissa Krull said the administration received word of an alleged threat.
She would not detail what kind of threat, but it was serious enough to cancel classes at the high school and involve the Eden Prairie Police.
All other schools in the Eden Prairie district are open today, and the staff at the high school still reported to work.
The school was in the news last month when students walked out of class in protest. They were upset that some students were punished for posting photos of them partying on the Web site Facebook.
