Xcel energy crews are out this morning restoring power to customers mostly in the east metro. At one point on Sunday, about 10,000 people lost electricity. The company says the cause was damp weather and road salt spray that affected transformers and electric poles.
Morning Edition host Cathy Wurzer talked with Tom Hoen, a spokesman for Xcel Energy.
