Police find missing girl, cancel Amber Alert
Authorities have canceled an Amber Alert after finding a four-year-old Fridley girl who was taken from a local hospital by her non-custodial mother. Anastasia Jones is alive and safe in police custody. She was taken from Hennepin County Medical Center by her mother on Friday afternoon. A spokeswoman for the state Bureau of Criminal Apprehension says police found the mother, her boyfriend and Jones in Minneapolis shortly before 1 p.m. on Saturday.
The mother and boyfriend have also been taken into custody. No charges have been filed.
