U.S. Senate candidates Norm Coleman and Al Franken are scheduled to share a stage for the first time after criticizing each other for months.
Both campaigns confirm that Republican Coleman and Democrat Franken will attend a U.S. Senate candidate forum at Farmfest, an agriculture expo held near Redwood Falls in southwestern Minnesota. The yearly event has become a must-stop for political candidates trying to court the rural vote.
This year's Farmfest will be held from Aug. 5 to 7, and the Senate candidate forum is scheduled for the morning of Aug. 5.
