(AP) - Minnesota's first statewide election recount in 46 years is finished and there won't be any changes in the general election ballot for state Supreme Court.
Unofficial results from the Secretary of State show that Hennepin County District Court Judge Deborah Hedlund remains the second-place finisher in the Sept. 9 primary for Supreme Court.
That means Hedlund will face Supreme Court Justice Lorie Gildea in the Nov. 4 election.
Hedlund's margin over defense lawyer Jill Clark shrunk by seven votes on the recount, to 1,341.
Secretary of State Mark Ritchie says the recount was the fastest of its kind in the country, and no ballots were challenged.
The State Canvassing Board meets Sunday to certify the recount results.
