Twins close on White Sox
The Minnesota Twins have closed to within a game and a half of the first place White Sox.
Scott Baker pitched seven strong innings and the Twins beat the White Sox 9-3 last night. Jason Kubel was the hitting star.
Kubel hit two home runs a triple in the game.
"It was fun. Baker.... a big win tonight," Kubel said.
Delmon Young also hit a home run last night.
The Twins and White Sox play two more games of a three game series at the Metrodome.
Tonight's pitchers are Nick Blackburn and Mark Buehrle. The game begins just after 7 p.m.
