(AP) - Two juveniles are in jail after a Metro Transit bus driver was assaulted and crashed his bus in south Minneapolis.

Metro Transit spokesman Bob Gibbons says the driver had asked a group of six juveniles on the bus to quiet down.

Gibbons says the juveniles did not comply, and one of them assaulted the driver, causing him to crash into a traffic light pole.

It happened late Thursday night in the Cedar-Riverside neighborhood. The bus sustained extensive damage to its front and passenger side.
