New book explores the lore and beauty of Minnesota fish
The Pumpkinseed is a colorful sunfish. It can be found in lakes and streams throughout Minnesota, although it is rare in the Arrowhead Region. Its name refers to its body shape, which resembles the shape of a pumpkin seed.
