Travel is not advised throughout most of Minnesota as a major winter storm moves through the region.
Most northwestern and west-central Minnesota were experiencing blizzard conditions, as well as in the area around Duluth.
The Minnesota Department of Transportation has closed parts of I-94 and Highways 10 and 210 in northwestern Minnesota.
No travel is advised in North Dakota today. Blizzard conditions caused state officials to close I-94 from Jamestown to the Minnesota border and I-29 from the South Dakota border to Canada.

Minnesota Public Radio's chief meteorologist Paul Huttner says the Midwest is seeing its first full on blizzard today.
The Iron Range and the North Shore saw large snowfall amounts with the storm. However, the storm system largely missed the Twin Cities metro area.
"We've mostly missed the brunt of the storm here in the Twin Cities. I think that's good news for most of us. The precipitation fell as rain. We were above freezing most of the day here. But just this afternoon that cold front has pushed in the Twin Cities and temperatures dropping from the 30s into the teens very quickly this evening. We'll get a little snow on top of that as well," said Huttner.

Huttner says the falling temperatures and strong winds will make travel difficult throughout the region tonight.
School officials in Fargo say all classes and after-school activities are cancelled for students of the Fargo Public Schools tomorrow. This includes kindergarten, pre-school, Catholic Schools Network, Oak Grove and Grace Lutheran.
