The holidays, and the end of the year, are crucial times for charities and their fundraising. This year's economic downturn has made raising money a challenge. MPR's Cathy Wurzer spoke with the leaders of three organizations: Barb Cook, the director of development for Make-A-Wish Foundation; Annette Bauer, public relations director for the Salvation Army of Minnesota and North Dakota; and Peggy Ladner, director of The Nature Conservancy of Minnesota.
