Bob Edgar, president and CEO of the government watchdog organization Common Cause, discusses how to keep government clean and hold political leaders accountable.
Common Cause, founded in 1970 by John Gardner, has led efforts to reform campaign finance and connect citizens to their democracy. Edgar came to Common Cause after heading the National Council of the Churches of Christ. He also served six terms in the U.S. House of Representatives, representing the 7th Congressional District of Pennsylvania.
