James Comey, deputy attorney general under President George W. Bush, discussed the fight against terrorism. He spoke at the Univesity of Minnesota's Humphrey Institute of Public Affairs.
Comey was acting attorney general in March of 2004, while John Ashcroft was temporarily hospitalized. He's become known for a movie-like scene that took place in John Ashcroft's hospital room, in which top administration officials visited Ashcroft to try to secure approval for a national security program.
His speech was titled, "Can we talk? Seeking Common Ground in Fighting Terrorism."
