The Minnesota National Guard says another 550 of its troops will deploy to Iraq for Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Deployment ceremonies are scheduled for Saturday for four units for the 1st Battalion, 151st Field Artillery.
The soldiers will leave Minnesota for Fort Hood, Texas for three months of training. Then they will travel overseas where they will provide convoy security and force protection in Kuwait and Iraq.
They're scheduled to be deployed for one year.
