This weekend, the Guthrie theater kicks off a celebration of the work of Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Tony Kushner. It's a nine-week marathon that will culminate with a world-premiere staging of Kushner's newest play.

MPR's Cathy Wurzer spoke with Morning Edition arts commentator and St. Paul Pioneer Press theater critic Dominic Papatola about the Guthrie's move.
