Iran's president has weighed in on the case of Iranian-American journalist Roxana Saberi. He's asking the general prosecutor in Tehran to make sure she gets a fair appeal of her 8 year prison sentence on spying.

MPR's Cathy Wurzer spoke with professor William Beeman, the chair of the Anthropology department at the University of Minnesota. He's spent more than 30 years studying Iran.
