How a Pulitzer prize went to the play 'Ruined'

Among the winners of this year's Pulitzer Prizes was the play "Ruined," a drama by playwright Lynn Nottage. The award virtually guarantees the difficult play a healthy life on the regional theater circuit.

MPR's Cathy Wurzer spoke with Morning Edition arts commentator and St. Paul Pioneer Press theater critic Dominic Papatola, who headed the drama jury for this year's Pulitzers.
