7 charged in beating death of St. Paul man

The Ramsey County Attorney's Office filed charges against seven people today in the murder of 20-year-old Tai Yang.

Yang was found dead on the sidewalk outside the Moonlight Magic bar in St. Paul on May 10. Witnesses said Yang was kicked and beaten by as many as ten people prior to his death.

Nou Chang, 22; Thai Chang, 22; Kou Thao, 19; Michelle Vue, 26; Keng Xiong, 23; Chue Yang, 23; and Teng Yang, 26; all of St. Paul, are charged with aiding and abetting unintentional second-degree murder in the incident.

Police say the beating may have been the result of an altercation between rival gang members
