A group of bicyclists gathered in solidarity after learning that a fellow cyclist had been crushed to death by a truck while riding near downtown Minneapolis.
Dennis Dumm was killed Wedneday morning at the intersection of Park Avenue and East 14th Street.
On Wednesday evening, participants in an already planned Ride of Silence rode through the intersection to remember the 31-year-old cyclist.
Police say the accident happened when a semitrailer made a wide left turn, crossing in front of Dumm. Minneapolis police spokesman Sgt. Bill Palmer says the driver of the truck won't be cited.
