Two separate road projects will cause delays for motorists in the north metro area starting today.
A MnDOT official said a resurfacing project will begin today on a stretch of Highway 97 in Washington County. The highway will remain open, but flag crews will guide motorists through the construction zone between Highway 61 and Highway 95.
Also today, the northbound lanes of Highway 51/Snelling Avenue will close for two weeks for resurfacing between Highway 36 and Ramsey County Rd. C.
