Another young Somali man who disappeared from Minneapolis is reported to have died in Somalia.

Community members say 20-year-old Jamal Ahmed, also known as Jamal Bana, was shot in Mogadishu. They say Ahmed was one of several young men from Minneapolis who returned to Somalia last November to join the fighting in that country.

An FBI spokesman said the agency could not confirm Bana's death.

Omar Jamal from the Somali Justice Advocacy Center is calling for the authorities to step up the investigation into the disappearances.

"The investigation is taking forever," he said. "We need someone to be held accountable for this - for this human trafficking of young boys into harm's way, into a war zone. They are getting killed one after another every day."

Another Minneapolis man, 17-year-old Burhan Hassan was killed in Mogadishu last month. Federal authorities are investigating a possible connection between terrorist groups and the disappearances of about a dozen young Somali men from the Twin Cities over the last two years.
