Art Hounds: Puppets in Bemidji, Osmo on clarinet, Music and Movies

Each week Minnesota Public Radio News asks three people from the Minnesota arts scene to be "Art Hounds." Their job is to step outside their own work and hunt down something exciting that's going on in local arts.

Find out how you can be an art hound.

This week:

Paula Swenson is a painter and mixed media artist from Bemidji. Paula and other Bemidji artists have been hosting In the Heart of the Beast Puppet and Mask Theatre this week while the Minneapolis theater group conducts a week-long puppet-making workshop. The workshop is taking place at the Headwaters School of Music & Arts and culminates on the weekend of July 18 and 19, with a lakefront water circus.
