The 4th annual north Minneapolis arts crawl, known as FLOW, will be held along West Broadway Avenue on Saturday.
The event showcases visual and performance art created by residents of north Minneapolis. Organizers say this year, they will also include food from local cooks and caterers.
Sondra Samuels, the president of the PEACE Foundation, a co-sponsor of the arts crawl, said FLOW is a great way to highlight the cultural history of the north side.
"I've always known there is such rich heritage on the northside," Samuels said. "And that because of some of the negativity, because of the challenges, because of the isolation, because of the violence; that sometimes doesn't get to surface."
The arts crawl runs from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m. The event will also include a recognition ceremony for local high school graduates heading for college this fall.
