Authorities in Sheboygan County, Wis., say a small fire at a sausage plant left one person with second-degree burns and prompted the evacuation of all of the building's 325 employees.
The fire at Johnsonville Sausage was reported Friday about 11 a.m. It was extinguished in about 30 minutes.
Company spokeswoman Christine Wallace says the injured person was treated at a hospital and released.
Sheriff's Lt. Mark Rupnik says the fire was in the company's Countryside facility in the Town of Sheboygan Falls. He says no smoke or flames were visible outside the plant.
Wallace says employees were let back in by 1:00 p.m. and production resumed as normal.
She says damage appears "minimal" but officials won't know the full extent until an investigation is completed.
